Service

Managed Hosting

We host and operate websites and applications under a defined scope, and we stay responsible for them after launch.

In this service

  • Application hosting
  • Patching and updates
  • Backups and restore tests
  • Uptime and certificate monitoring
  • Incident response
  • Monthly operations report

Overview

Where this actually helps.

A system that is not patched, backed up and watched is a liability that has not been invoiced yet. Most outages and most breaches trace back to routine work that stopped happening when the original team moved on.

Managed hosting with us means that routine work has an owner. Operating system and dependency updates on a schedule, certificates that renew themselves, backups restored to prove they work, and alerts that reach a person.

You get a monthly written record of what was done, what changed and what needs a decision, so the system stays visible to the people accountable for it.

What this covers

Capabilities.

An engagement is scoped from these. Nothing here is a package: the combination depends on what you already have.

Application hosting

US-region hosting for websites, APIs and databases, sized to the workload and separated by environment.

Patching and updates

Operating system, runtime and dependency updates applied on a published schedule, with emergency patching when a vulnerability demands it.

Backups and restore tests

Encrypted, offsite backups with defined retention, restored on a schedule and recorded in the monthly report.

Monitoring

Uptime, resource, error-rate and certificate checks across every layer, alerting a named engineer rather than a shared inbox.

Incident response

A documented response path, agreed response times and a written incident summary after anything that affects service.

Operations reporting

A monthly report covering availability, changes, patches, backup tests and anything that needs a decision from you.

How we work

How an engagement runs.

Four stages, in this order, on every project. The detail changes; the sequence does not.

  1. 01

    Assess

We review the current hosting, access, backups and known issues, and tell you plainly what condition the system is in.

  2. 02

    Stabilize

Urgent fixes first: missing backups, expired or expiring certificates, unpatched components, excessive access.

  3. 03

    Migrate

Where a move is needed, a staged migration with a tested rollback and a cut-over window agreed in advance.

  4. 04

    Operate

Routine operations under the agreed scope, with the monthly report as the record of what was done.

Technical scope

What we work with.

Established tools chosen because they fit the problem and can be maintained, not because they are new.
