Service
Cloud & Infrastructure
We design, build and document cloud and server environments so they can be understood, audited and rebuilt, by your team or ours.
In this service
- Cloud architecture
- Cloud migration
- Infrastructure as code
- Networking and DNS
- Backup and recovery
- Cost review
Overview
Where this actually helps.
Infrastructure usually grows by accident. A server is added for a project, a firewall rule for a vendor, a storage bucket for a report. Each change is reasonable; the sum is an environment nobody can fully describe, and therefore nobody can fully secure.
We build environments from version-controlled definitions, separated by purpose, with access, network boundaries and data locations written down. That record is what makes an environment auditable, and what lets it be rebuilt after an incident rather than reconstructed from memory.
Hosting region is a requirement, not an accident. Where a contract calls for US-only data residency or a government cloud region, that is where the system runs.
What this covers
Capabilities.
An engagement is scoped from these. Nothing here is a package: the combination depends on what you already have.
Cloud architecture
Account structure, network layout, identity and access, and data placement designed together and documented before anything is provisioned.
Cloud migration
Moving workloads from on-premises or legacy hosting in planned stages, with a rollback path at each step and no surprise downtime.
Infrastructure as code
Environments defined in Terraform or equivalent, reviewed like application code, and reproducible on demand.
Networking and DNS
VPCs, private connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, DNS zones and certificates, under change control rather than ad hoc edits.
Backup and recovery
Scheduled, encrypted backups retained offsite, and restored on a schedule, because an untested backup is an assumption.
Cost review
A line-by-line read of a cloud bill against what the workload actually needs, with right-sizing changes you can approve one at a time.
How we work
How an engagement runs.
Four stages, in this order, on every project. The detail changes; the sequence does not.
-
01
Inventory
We record what exists: accounts, servers, networks, data stores, access and costs. Most engagements find something nobody knew about.
-
02
Design
Target architecture, security boundaries and migration sequence documented and agreed before any change is made.
-
03
Build
Environments provisioned from code, reviewed, and tested with a restore and a failover before they carry production traffic.
-
04
Operate
Monitoring, patching, backups and certificate renewal handed to your team with runbooks, or run by us under an agreed scope.

Technical scope
What we work with.
Established tools chosen because they fit the problem and can be maintained, not because they are new.

Platforms
- AWS and AWS GovCloud (US)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud
- VPS and dedicated servers
Provisioning
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Docker
- Kubernetes where justified
Network & edge
- VPC design
- Nginx
- Cloudflare
- DNS and TLS automation
Operations
- Prometheus and Grafana
- Centralized logging
- Backup verification
- Runbooks
Deliverables
What you are left with.
- An environment described in code, rebuildable on demand.
- An architecture document and inventory an auditor can read.
- Backups that have actually been restored.
