Profile

The person answerable for the work.

Emeka Iwuagwu founded Aletheia Labs to bring a builder-operator model to public-sector technology: the people who design a system are the people who run it, document it and answer for it.

His work has centered on systems where failure is expensive. In banking, that has meant replacing commercial e-signature subscriptions with an in-house platform, and putting security and operations tooling into production at Nigerian commercial and development banks. In distributed systems, it has meant designing consensus, execution and finality for new blockchain networks from the protocol layer up.

Alongside Aletheia Labs, Emeka is the founder and managing director of ORQELIS, a European technology services company, and leads engineering across the Kortana ecosystem. Contracting officers and partners deal with him directly, from first conversation to closeout.

    Enterprise e-signature platform

    Banking

    Deployed at Sterling Bank (Nigeria)

An in-house electronic signature solution built as an alternative to commercial services such as DocuSign, giving the bank full control of its signing workflow and documents.

    • Captured handwritten signatures with Topaz signature pads, bound to documents at the point of signing
    • Built on C# and .NET, integrated with the bank’s internal systems
    • Documents and signing records kept inside the bank’s own environment

    RavenSec Twin

    Banking security

    Deployed at Wema Bank (Nigeria)

ravensec.co (opens in a new tab)

Part of RavenSec, a security intelligence platform that maps an organization’s attack surface, explains vulnerabilities in plain language and drafts fixes that a human approves before anything changes.

    • Attack-surface discovery across domains, repositories, cloud accounts and clusters
    • AI-assisted detection and triage, with every change human-approved
    • Append-only audit trail and role-based access built for compliance

A platform deployed in production at Nigeria’s development finance institution, built and supported to the operational and security standards of a regulated bank.

    • Deployed into a regulated banking environment
    • Delivered with documentation and operational handover
    • Supported in production after go-live

    Kortana Network

    Distributed ledger

kortana.network (opens in a new tab)

A high-throughput blockchain built for decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) and urban technology: sensors, energy systems and connectivity hardware.

    • Dual execution: the Kortana Virtual Machine alongside full EVM compatibility
    • Deterministic finality with no single point of failure for node operation
    • Developer SDKs, Kortana Studio IDE, faucet and mainnet and testnet explorers

    Distributed ledger

stateofaletheia.org (opens in a new tab)

A Byzantine-fault-tolerant ledger developed for the State of Aletheia founding-phase project, with a published core specification open to engineering audit.

    • Targets 500 ms slots and roughly one-second finality
    • Fixed-fee settlement with Merkle proofs against finalized blocks
    • Payment rail in development, designed for SEPA and SWIFT gateways
